SPEEDKING

SPEEDKING

Started out in 1999 as a bet; that they could make an album that sounded like good old classic hardrock with all the right klichés but still feel new and fresh.

And of course they could.

After the first year as a band, in 2000, two of the band members Freddie Flame (Guitar) and Anders Fransson (Drums and Percussions) left the band and was replaced by Peter Fernlund (Helmersson) on guitar and Per Widell on Drums.

SPEEDKING did several gigs between 2001 - 2002 and in 2003 they hit the studio to make another album. Unfortunately the recording was never finished, due to unknown circumstances.

And a bit of 80% Stroh Rum...

Instead, they became legend.

A legend so powerful and loud that in 2008 they had to resurrect from their underground lair, dragged out by the fans who demanded their comeback.

So, once again they hit the stage and showed the world what rock'n'roll is all about.

Nowadays, in this our dark age, the KING is lurking in the shadows, prowling the street in the moonlight, with boiling blood, hungry and aching for rock'n'roll souls out there, ready an' willing...

You can never be sure when they're going to rise again – before you know it, they'll stand there right infront of you, the monsters of the night, crying out for you to follow their lead.

And you will.

You will.
